I have spend the last two days working with/for David Way of DNR and Steve from Stump Jumpers improving two water crossings to keep Fish and Game happy.
1. Yesterday was at the bottom of Sac Up/Poop Chute where you turn off Reiter Road. It is not 100% complete yet, but greatly improved over what it was. Please take it easy when you use it so it stays in good condition.
2. Today was a water crossing under the small power lines on the way to Reiter Pond Fish Hatchery. It also is not 100% but a work in progress. Again if you use that route for any reason, take care crossing the water so you do not damage the improvement work that has been accomplished.
3. The Fish and Game Fish Biologist came by this afternoon and inspected both of these locations and the Blocked Water Crossing under the main Power Lines near the Rock Garden. She was satasified with the work that had been accomplished. She did not say she was happy with the results, but she did state that she found nothing to complain about, so I guess that is as good as it gets.
I will post up some photos here and at NW-W when I get them loaded off my camera late this evening.
