Hello RTW!

I know many of you are anxious to get out and accomplish some work at Reiter. There a few hoops the DNR still needs to jump through regarding a restoration work plan and so on... Please standby for more details on that work.

However, I will be looking for a few people that would be willing to help me do some minor ground work mitigating sediment delivery at the water crossing we built on the middle road heading into the upper staging area. If anybody is interested in getting out there to work in the wind and rain for a few hours, it would be great.

I will be at the middle road water crossing around 10 AM on Sunday. If you are interested in coming out, please give me a heads up on my cell phone at:
360-333-5741.

Thanks,

David Way
Reiter Foothills Recreation Manager

Hi All:

David, I'm gonna try to make it out there on Sunday to help out.

I *think* I know which spot you are referring too! :D

What, if any tools are needed for this project?

Regards,

Alan

I will be there. I told David so at the meeting tonight and also asked if we needed any tools and he said no.

I spoke with a few of you last night. It sounds like we should have plenty of hands to help out. Scott is gonna bring the small tractor and I will have some erosion control stuff.

Don't worry about tools. I got em.

Thanks again RTW members! You guys always seem to be "on call" when I need help.

DNR is working on work plans for restoration. I hope I have work party info to share with you all soon.

Yes indeed, Thank you for bringing the tractor Scott. It was wet and cold but we stopped alot of sediment from getting into the closed stream crossing.

Good pics Kat. You may want to pull down the video with the chainsaw though. Don't want him getting in trouble. ;)
