Reiter to reopen soon

According to info obtained on another BBS by an RTW Member Reiter is to reopen "soon" to the ORV community.

Can the RTW folks comment on this as this is not what was portrayed at the past few DNR meetings.

well depending on what your opinion of soon is.
I have been through this with many other orv parks and soon to me would be within a year. I do believe it will reopen within as year.

If you are expecting soon to be within the next few weeks or even few months then..NO but in comparison to other drn projects i have been involved with it will be soon.

As it has been stated before the more help we can give the dnr the sooner it will reopen.

If people would be willing to volunteer to get something done instead of complaining avout the dnr shuitting down an area that was never a designated orv park to begin with we might actually get somewhere.

I think the message is that it will reopen around April because we are going to do everything we can to help push for that. That is the "SOONEST" it will be open per Mark saying April would be when they evaluate the progress.

because this site was set up to talk about buisness. the drama need to go somewhere else.

How so? I've only offered review of information that's available to everyone. I've not attempted to "stir the pot" on this board at all as I think it's important to keep this avenue of communication open and free of BS.

I have to agree 100% with 4xrick, regarding the definition of "SOON", it is a relative term and can have many meanings.

SOON, does not specifically set a specific date or time, but I think it is safe to assume they did not mean 5 or 10 years from now, but when all the parts required have been put into place and work accomplished as required, and our Volunteer Labor will make their soon, sooner rather then later!

It appears some people not only need to hear better, but improve their reading comprehension also.

Binder/Jobless, what exactly is this thread intended to prove? That anything can be taken a bunch of different ways? You guys throw out some really good ideas and knowledge but it's this crap in between that makes me wonder what your beef is? Are you looking for an apology? I'm sorry Reiter is closed (temporarily) now and you guys called it a few years ago when the user group commitee was formed. I sorta have an idea since about your issues since there is alot of past crap on SNORT. I want you guys to keep being involved here but can you at least cut us all a little slack? The past is THE PAST! Judge us on what we do from here on out.

I understand just fine. What you don't understand is what I wrote was not negative or finger pointing at all....Furthermore sometimes fingers need to be pointed in order to keep people from making the same mistake over.

we have not formerly said hi im rick....hi im rick..... but i have been around you and you have been around me. I have watched your threads on here and on other boards and see alot of negativity coming from you. i feel that you are complaining and pointing fingers.
we are here to make things better for all users. why can you not focus on that instead of pointing fingers and complaining about the closure and the way the dnr does things?

the only thing that is going to change what the dnr is going to do is us putting in volunteer hours to help things along. if you are not willing to that then go somewhere else.

The RTW spreading mis-information on other boards.

All we need are the facts, if people would like to express their opinion which is based on assumption and their personal feelings towards the issue then that's great, but it should be expressed as such so as not to be misleading.

My point is that the RTW is well known for spreading mis-information. They hear what they want and then add their own spin to it in order to promote "their" opinion rather than fact. I would not expect this type of attitude from an org that is acting in the best interest of Reiter.

The problem with the internet & emails is that people read and interpret what they are reading based on their own emotional state at the time. So you see Drama, I see a valid point trying to be made as to an area that have repeatedly requested be improoved.

Please do not don't make assumptions. I don't live in th past and I do know the history of Reiter and who, what, when, where & why things have turned out the way they have and I don't blame the RTW.

You are correct, regardless of what board things are posted on by RTW members, it's a reflection of the RTW. It's just like being affiliated with a political party, religion, club, etc...it's guilt by association.

Mis-information, meaning that:
1. They will not directly answer questions based on fact. Instead they will speculate using their own opinion. There is no value added in this.
2. If they do not know they will not just come out and say so, they will once again speculate based on opinion. There is no value added in this.
3. They will beat around the bush and dodge the question all together. Again, no value added.
